PROFESSIONALISM- SAFETY - TEAMWORK - HOSPITALITY
You are training to become a professional lifeguard, taking responsibility for the lives of people who are participating in a variety of aquatic activities. As a professional rescuer with a legal responsibility to act in an emergency, you must be self-disciplined and confident in your knowledge and skills. You need to have solid public relation, customer service and conflict resolution skills. In addition, you must be willing to be a leader as well as good team member. Being a lifeguard requires maturity, professionalism and competence in specialized rescue techniques.
Lifeguarding is a serious job, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun while working! As part of our team of ALMONTAZAH lifeguards, you will get to know our many guests and make new friends working with your fellow lifeguards who, like you, care about preventing accidents and saving lives. Lifeguarding is a job that helps you to develop skills that transcend occupational boundaries, while helping to make a difference in people’s lives. We look forward to welcoming you aboard our team of ALMONTAZAH lifeguards.
In order for the water park to be successful, staff must be united and work together as a team. Remember there is no “I” in the word “team”. Lifeguards are expected to be team players at all times and must do their best to help out other co-workers when needed.
